Johannesburg Water (JW) said in an update on Thursday morning, the reconfiguration of the Commando System, is delivering satisfactory results, at the Brixton reservoir and tower.
Three systems, part of the Commando, are at low levels, including the Crosby Reservoir, Hursthill 1 Reservoir and Hursthill 2.
JW said interventions continue, such as night closures of reservoirs and throttling at areas with high demand.
Systems in Soweto are also satisfactory, including the Doornkop reservoir, Power Park, Zondi and Meadowlands reservoirs.
