Residents of Bezuidenhout Valley, are urged not to drink water or use tap water, until declared safe.
Johannesburg Water (JW) confirmed it would collect water samples from Bezuidenhout Valley, on Sunday, at around 5pm.
This follows repair work at Albertina Sisulu and 10th Avenue.
The tests will be taken to a laboratory to check if they meet the required water quality standards.
