A truck and trailer hijacked with unprocessed copper in Grootvlei on Tuesday, was later found at a dealership in Witbank.
Police said stolen goods are valued at an estimated R9 Million.
A multi-disciplinary operation by the Nkangala Anti-Hijacking Task Team and Cyber Search Security, used intelligence and swift tracking, to spot the truck.
They were led to the dealership in Witbank, where they arrested a male suspect, aged 33.
The owner of the premises, a Zimbabwean national, was found on site and was also arrested then charged for the possession of suspected stolen property.
The man is expected to appear in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court soon.
Lieutenant General Apaphia Modise, the Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, thanked the Nkangala Anti-Hijacking Task Team and Cyber Search Security for their diligence.
