The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) informed residents of Pretoria, of the postponement of the completion of the road reinstatement at the intersection of Pretoria Avenue and Katherine Street.
Kenny Kunene, MMC of Roads and Transport in Joburg, said a new date will be communicated in due course.
The JRA announced it would proceed with the temporary closure of the M1 Smit Street Interchange off-ramps on Saturday, the 07th March 2026.
During this time, the JRA will undertake road testing and investigations.
The closure is expected to end at 3pm, having started, at 09am.
All ramps will be fully opened during peak morning and afternoon.
