Johannesburg Water (JW) said the Crown Gardens reservoir and tower is supplying fairly despite constraints.
Similarly other strained systems are the South Hills tower, Alexander Park reservoir, the Berea reservoir and the Commando.
JW said it is working with Rand Water to stabilize supply.
The Crosby reservoir remains fairly low, although it is pumping to the Brixton reservoir, Hursthill 1 and 2.
Moreover, the local water utility said it would introduce throttling (reduce water flow and pressure) on Sunday evening (6pm) into Monday morning (5am).
Affected areas are those supplied by reservoirs- Orange Farm, Lawley, Lenasia, Lenasia hospital, President Park, Brixton, Crown gardens, Diepsloot, Doornkop, Grand Central to Glen Austin, Orlando East, Berea, Diepkloof, Illovo,Yeoville, Brixton, Grand Central, Rabie Ridge and Protea Glen.
