Severe thunderstorms are expected today, on the Eastern side of the Northern Cape, according to an advisory from Weather South Africa (WeatherSA).
The same weather conditions are expected on the Western parts of the North West, as well as Western and Southern parts of the Free State today.
WeatherSA said residents can brace themselves for localised damage to properties, difficult driving conditions and falling trees.
