A level 2 warning against disruptive rains, was issued by the South African Weather Service (SAWS) for parts of the Western Cape tomorrow.

A series of cold fronts are expected to accompany the rains, in coastal regions of the country from tomorrow morning until Sunday.

As a result, very cold temperatures and frost can also be expected over large parts of SA tomorrow morning.

According to Dr Angelo Hoorn of the Severe Weather and Information Center, there are 2 cold fronts approaching, one from the Southwest of Cape Town, and another, has developed behind the first one.

The South Western Cape is braising for light rains this evening,  with possible strong winds to the southwestern parts of SA tomorrow.

Last weekend, the City of Cape Town’s Traffic Services, said in a statement, about 293 motor vehicle accidents occurred. This is more than five times the usual weekly average of 50.
Therefore, with more rainfall expected, motorists are urged to take extra caution on wet roads.
