3-day maintenance of the O2 pipeline begins on Tuesday, the 15th until the 18th July 2025, affecting three of Gauteng’s biggest cities- Johannesburg, Pretoria and Ekurhuleni.
Water users could experience low to no water supplies during the time of maintenance.
Affected areas are those supplied by the Hartebeeshoek reservoir, including Akasia, Garankuwa, Kruisfontein, Klipfontein, Mabopane, Magaliesberg/ Rosslyn, Rama City, Soshanguve, Strydfontein, Winterveld, Erasmia, Heights, Lotus Gardens, Mnandi, Pretoria West, Raslouw, Rooihuiskraal, The Reeds, Saulsville, Suiderberg, Sunderland Ridge.
Areas affected in Johannesburg are those supplied by the Palmiet system, including the Sandton Systems, Alexander Park Reservoir, South Hills Tower, Randjieslaagte Reservoir, Linksfield Reservoir and Midrand Systems.
In Ekurhuleni: Edenvale, Thembisa, Germiston and Kempton Park.
