Thirty (30) people died after piles of rubbish at a landfill site collapsed, in Conakry, the capital of Guinea, on Sunday.
Six (6) of the twenty two (22) people who were injured, are in a critical condition.
This follows heavy rains overnight.
Infrastructure was also destroyed including homes near the site.
Military and emergency crews used excavators to search for missing people.
Rains continue in that country, coupled with frequent lightning.
