About 33 people were killed by floods of April 4, 2025, in  Kinshasa, DRC.

The Ndjili River burst its banks, overflowing into nearby communities, threatening about 17 million residents.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) said 44 people were also injured.

The incident affected at least 13 of the 24 Municipalities in Kinshasa.
