Police said they are investigating how 44 Ethiopian Nationals, ended up in a house in Parkmore, Johannesburg, following their discovery by private security personnel on Thursday.
About forty-four (44) males, believed to be illegal immigrants, were found locked up in one of the houses in Sandton.
The police said the possibility that these individuals were trafficked into the country cannot be ruled out, and would form part of the investigation.
The police said private security officers were on duty in the area, when they received a complaint about people screaming and making noise at one of the houses in Parkmore.
They reported the matter to the police, who took to the scene.
Upon arrival, police discovered forty-four males, between the ages of 15 and 22.
