A 6.3 earthquake struck the Aleutian trench Alaska region, on Thursday morning.
This is the largest of a series of earthquakes in the area, this week alone.
No casualties were reported as a result.
A map by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) shows its exact location was south of Herbert Island in the Aleutian chain.
It had a shallow depth of about 5 miles (8 km) offshore, but felt in remote areas like Nikolski.
USGS also recorded over 103 earthquakes globally in September alone.
