The Eastern Cape Department of Transport, has announced road closures, as a result of snow, on Monday morning.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) warned against disruptive snow and rainfall in parts of the Eastern Cape, on Monday, the 09th June.

The Department announced the temporary closure of Lootsberg mountain pass on the N9 between Graaff-Reinet & Middelburg.

Motorists are advised to postpone their trips until the weather has improved.
