A wildfire that broke out near the Aloe Factory, in Albertinia, on Saturday, is now contained.
The Garden Route Municipality said firefighters are attending to one more open line.
Wind conditions over the weekend fuelled the fire, making it difficult to extinguish, but the Municipality said mop up operations have also begun.
A drop in overnight temperature was expected to quell the fire.
No infrastructure was damaged as a result of the fire, and no casualties reported. Andrew Stroebel, Mayor of the Garden Route District, said “thank you to those who reported the incident and firefighters who swiftly responded to the call for help”.
