About 54 active fires have engulfed a million acres, in the United States.
The fire in Oregon has burnt down 4 homes, putting about 4,000 people at risk. The fire has also burnt about 34 square miles near Sisters.
The wildfire in California – Pickett, has burnt 10 square miles in Napa County, placing over 500 structures at risk.
Experts say extreme heat and high winds are propelling the speed of the fire.
