Farmers are advised to take precautionary measures ahead of Tuesday’s cold weather and possible snowfall.
The weather service (SAWS) warned against very cold and wet conditions, with possible snowfall over high lying areas of the Eastern Cape, especially over the Drakensberg area as well as the southern parts of Free State and the Lesotho border.
Damaging winds and waves are expected over Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas, on Monday.
These conditions (at Level1) could lead to difficulty in navigation at sea for small vessels on Monday.
