10 dead puff adders and two olive snakes were found between Kabeljous and Albatross Beaches, by a snake catcher.
The snakes were already dead.
As a result, the Oribi Animal Hospital urged residents and beachgoers to be extra vigilant.
Snakes spotted in residential and beach areas, must be reported to Emma-Lisa Steyn of the hospital, to collect and free, in the wild.
