The petrol price is going up on Wednesday this week.
Gwede Mantashe, the Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources announced the general fuel levy would decrease by R1.50 per litre of petrol and R1.96 litre for diesel.
Both petrol 93 and 95 will increase by R1.43 cents per litre while diesel will decrease by R3.24.
Illuminating paraffin will decrease by R5.96c.
LPG in the Western Cape will also decrease by 17.00 per kilogram and 20 cents per kilogram.
Mantashe also said in a statement, the prices adjustments are due to local and international factors- including the current price of crude oil and the Rand/Dollar exchange.
