The R523 road between Tshirolwe and Tshikuwi is closed due to a community protest.
The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety advised motorists to use alternative roads.
Community members are demanding answers following the discovery of a body of a person who was reported missing.
Alternative Routes for motorists travelling from Musina towards Sibasa: From the N1 North, turn left at Musekene, proceed through Mamvuka and villages via the gravel road.
At Tshikikinini, turn left onto the R523 towards Thathe and continue to your destination.
For motorists travelling from Thathe towards Musina: From the R523 at Thathe, turn right at Tshikikinini village, travel through Matsa and Mamvuka villages. At Musekene, turn left onto the N1 North towards Musina.
For surrounding communities travelling towards Makhado: Turn right at Tshikombani on the R523 and proceed towards the N1 at Witvlag.
