Meteorologists confirmed the possibility of a cold front over the south-western and southern parts of the country on Thursday.

It is scheduled to bring isolated and or scattered showers, possibly also over parts of eastern South Africa.

These are not widespread severe storms in the next six days.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) forecast cold mornings in the interior parts of the country, characterised by frost and fog, this week.
