Amatola Water announced new interim members to its board this week.
Members are Dr Gastor Sharpley, who is the interim Chairperson, Advocate Sonwabile Mancotywa, Gcinikhaya Mpumza, Litha Geza and Nomfundo Douw-Jack.
Siyabulela Koyo, Chief Executive Officer of Amatola Water, said “their leadership, expertise and fresh perspective, will be invaluable as we continue to grow and advance our mission.
We are confident that their contribution will be instrumental in shaping the future of Amatola Water, and strengthening our commitment to serving the communities of the Eastern Cape.”
Amatola Water supplies to Municipality in the central Eastern Cape Province, including most of the Amathole and Chris Hani District Municipalities, lesser portions to the Joe Gqabi and Sarah Baartman Districts, some communities in Amahlathi and Ngqushwa local municipalities.
It also supplies water to some irrigators along the Upper and middle areas of Kubusi River, as well as Kent on–Sea and areas along the Bushman’s River.
