Another fire broke out in Marshalltown, Johannesburg.
A statement from the City of Johannesburg said on Friday morning, 15 September 2023, that a fire that broke out at the Delvers Close building, at corner Delvers and Cornelius streets in Marshalltown, Johannesburg CBD was attended to quickly by emergency services.
No fatalities were reported.
Today’s incident occurred close to the last building that caught fire last month (Usindiso building).
“We are happy with the fast response from the EMS team, after the fire incident at corner Albert and Denver streets, EMS have been on high alert,” said The MMC for Public Safety, Cllr Mgcini Tshwaku.
A statement from the City said more investigations will be conducted to determine the exact cause of this fire.
