Burman Road, in the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, was reopened on Friday, after closure, back in June.
The road was closed on the 11 June 2026 after a collapsed sewer line caused a sinkhole and damaged its surface.
The Municipality said repairs of the collapsed sewer line, were successfully completed.
“The Municipality thanks residents and road users for their patience and understanding while the repairs were underway” said the Municipality, in an update.
