The police (SAPS)have confirmed that the white VW Polo retrieved from the Hennops River, on Workers Day, belonged to the three Free State police officers who tragically lost their lives.
The bodies of Constable Linda Cebekhulu (24), Constable Keamogetswe Buys (30) and Constable Boipelo Senoge (20), were found on Wednesday this week, after they were last seen on Wednesday the 23rd April 2025, near the Grasmere Toll Plaza.
The vehicle was positively identified through its Vehicle Identification Number.
The three are believed to have been travelling to Limpopo from the Free State.
