Water interruptions kick in on Tuesday, the 06th May at 7am until Wednesday the following day, for residents supplied by the Eesterust Reservoir.
The City of Tshwane said its technicians would work at upgrading parts of the reservoir.
The City also said it would fill up supplying reservoirs ahead of the maintenance work, but some areas are still expected to experience interruptions.
These are Derdepoort, Derdepoort Park, Despatch, Eesterust, Hartebeespoort, Jan Niemand Park, Mamelodi, Silvertondale and Waltloo.
The City also said it would shutdown the Bronkhorspruit Water Treatment Plant from the 05th until the 16th May 2025.
This is so upgraded on crucial high-lift pumps could be serviced.
Areas in Region 7 are expected to be affected, including Bronkhorspruit Town, Ekandustria, Ekangala, Rethabiseng, Riamarpark, Zithobeni and the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality.
The City said it has arranged for water tanks during this time.
