The Cetric Mphofela Foundation will embark on a clean up in Pretoria, on Earth Day, on Wednesday.

The organisation is synonymous with litter picking and encourages communities to do the same.

The Foundation has organised more than 250 clean ups, in Gauteng and Limpopo, adding up to over 250,000 bags.

He is humble about his achievements.

“I’m driven to make a positive impact on people’s lives, wildlife, and the environment” said Cetric Mphofela, the head of the Foundation.

He is planning to walk from Pretoria to Kruger National Park, on June 5, 2026, to coincide with World Environment Day.

He will stop to do a cleanup in Dullstroom and Sabie with other organizations, among activities planned, whilst on his way to the Park.

“I invite everyone to join for a day to walk 2k or 5km to support this initiative or support by donating here.”
