A heatwave is expected to continue to sweep through parts of the northern parts of the EasternCape and over the northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal into Saturday.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) said the wave is also expected over Mpumalanga’s Highveld and southern parts of the Lowveld, into Monday.
Other areas on high alert due to extremely high fire danger conditions, are the central interior, most parts of northern KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga Lowveld as well as the Limpopo Valley and Western Bushveld.
