GCR Ratings (GCR), the provider of credit ratings in Africa, announced the appointment of Clement Chamboko, as Managing Director for Business Development, Africa.
With a career of two and a half decades, in Corporate and Investment Banking, Business Banking as well as Retail Banking, Chamboko brings a wealth of experience from key roles in leading financial institutions in Africa.
He also brings vast knowledge of the regulatory and market dynamics across the continent.
In his new role, Chamboko will oversee the expansion of GCR’s rating coverage and the growing participation of the rating agency in capital markets across Africa, working closely with other GCR regional Managing Directors.
