Mulilo has reached financial close on the Du Plessis Dam Solar PV2 project.
The project is expected to generate about 248 GWh (Gigawatts an hour), annually.
The project is one of four, to be linked to the Kestrel Main Transmission Substation, near De Aar in the Northern Cape.
It was developed by Mulilo in partnership with H1 Holdings.
Mulilo said on Tuesday, this is one of the first projects to achieve financial close under a energy aggregator model, with Etana Energy.
