Envusa Energy and WBHO donated two ambulances to the Umsobomvu and Inxuba Yethemba Municipalities.
The ambulances are fully equipped, costing R1 million, each.
Premiers of the Eastern and Northern Cape, Oscar Mabuyane and Dr Zamani Saul, both received the ambulances on behalf of the communities.
Envusa said this is a response to communities facing significant pressure in Middleburg and Noupoort.
