One person sustained severe burnt wounds, following a fire at a factory at Merrivale.
Midlands Emergency Rescue Medics (EMS) said it dispatched its crews just after 23:00, on Saturday evening.
Upon arrival, firefighting crews were already at the scene to control the blaze.
But one person sustained severe burn injuries and was in need of urgent Advanced Life Support treatment.
Due to the severity of the patient’s condition, ventilation support was required using a manual ventilator.
Midlands EMS paramedics immediately began treating and stabilizing the patient, who was later transported to a Level 1 Trauma Hospital for further specialist care.
K9 Hunter, and Midlands EMS Rescue teams, was also at the scene, alongside some authorities.
The cause of the fire is under investigation investigated.
