The Cape Winelands District Municipality said firefighting efforts will continue in Wellington and Witzenberg.
This follows a flare-up in Doolhof on Sunday evening, threatened property. Fire and ground crews were able to prevent damages, and the fire is now under control.
The Municipality said farmers in the area activated aerial resources administered via the Winelands Fire Protection Association late yesterday afternoon.
All fires in the Wellington area were contained, but various fire lines in Witzenberg, continue to smoulder on, while some are burning.
