The City of Matlosana, has asked motorists to avoid flooded roads.
These include the N12 direction to stilfontein, N12 direction wolmaranstad, as well as the Hartebeesfontein road.
Water levels are reportedly high, making it difficult to spot potholes on the road.
The City of Matlosana’s Public Safety Directorate said other flooded roads in the area, are the N12 Circle, Jouberton, Kanana Low-Lying Bridge, Leemhuis Bridge, Trens Erasmus and Homan Bridge.
Ntswaki Makgetha, Assistant Director of Communications at the City of Matlosana, said “for safety precautions, motorists are advised to, avoid flooded areas and not to attempt to cross flooded bridges or roads.”
