Fuel prices are decreasing but diesel is scheduled to increase as from the 05th August.

The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources (DMRE) said prices are adjusted monthly, informed by both local and international factors.

South Africa imports crude oil and finished products at a certain price.

Petrol 93 and Petrol 95 are set to decrease by 52 cents a litre while diesel (0,05% sulphur) is expected to increase by R13,84 cents a litre.

Diesel (0,005% sulphur) will increase by R12,34 cents a litre.

Similarly, illuminating paraffin will go up by R15,20 cents.

The price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG)  will go down by R4,41 cents per kilogram and R5,03 cents in the Western Cape.
