The N5 between Senekal and Winburg is closed, due to a diesel tanker accident, since Sunday morning.
This is due to a hazardous fuel spillage across the roadway, caused by an accident involving a diesel tanker.
Emergency services and clean-up crews are onsite working to clear the spill.
Road users are advised to travel from Winburg town off-ramp instead.
Motorists traveling from Senekal toward Winburg/N1, are advised to detour through Winburg town to access the N1 highway.
