Huawei Digital Power has launched a FusionSolar C&I OASIS Solution at the Malaysia PV & ESS Safety Forum & Product Launch 2024.
The technology integrates the internet with PV solutions, meant for both commercial and industrial areas (C&I).
Malaysia is the first country in the Asia-Pacific region to introduce this innovative solution, which aims to accelerate the nation’s transition to green energy while enhancing safety and efficiency in commercial and industrial solar installations.
The forum, held at the Sunway Resort Hotel, attracted over 300 participants, including industry leaders, enterprise representatives, experts, and government officials, underscoring the critical importance of safety in photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems (ESS).
Simon Sun, CEO of Huawei Malaysia, emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting Malaysia’s green energy growth. He highlighted the approaching era of PV and Energy Storage (PV+ESS) parity, where the combination of solar power and energy storage will become the most economical and universal form of power.
“As PV energy generation improves and the costs of solar panels decrease due to growing market supply and demand, the era of PV+ESS parity is on the horizon. FusionSolar, the integration of battery and solar, is gradually becoming the renewable/green energy of choice of the masses, helping to reduce dependence on diesel generators, and lessening economic as well as environmental impacts. This means that combining solar power with energy storage will become the most prudent and universal form of power” said Sun.
The FusionSolar C&I OASIS Solution offers system-level active safety and a powerful green power engine and is a step towards a low-carbon future.
This first of its kind solution in the Asia-Pacific region, integrates advanced safety features into commercial and industrial PV systems, addressing diverse safety requirements and setting new standards in the industry.
