The South African Weather Services (SAWS) has warned against high fire danger conditions over 7 provinces on Tuesday, including Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, Free State, North West, the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the central and eastern parts of Limpopo as well as the northern and western parts of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
The SAWS also said the UVB sunburn index in Gauteng, will be very high.
Strong west to north-westerly winds are also expected along the coast from Cape Point to Plattenberg Bay.
Northerly to north-easterly wind is also expected north of Durban in the morning, and strong southerly to south-westerly in Kosi Bay, in the afternoon.
