Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the northern, central and southern parts of the Northern Cape, north-eastern parts of the Western Cape, as well as the north-western parts of the Eastern Cape. This is according to an impact based warning issued by Weather South Africa yesterday.
A Yellow Level 1 warning was also issued for the Northern coastline of KwaZulu-Natal.
This area includes small holiday towns of Ballito, Salt Rock, Umhlali, Tinley Manor, and Zinkwazi, and stretches all the way to John Ross Bridge, the Tugela Mouth.
Morning drizzles are expected along the escarpment of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
