Recently conducted surveys confirm organic and environmentally friendly products and goods are in demand.

“73% of South Africans report they would adopt a more sustainable lifestyle if it was clear which brands are sustainable, this is a call to action for brands.”
How important is sustainability: “South African consumers rank energy sources (51%), medication and supplements (46%), clothing (39%), transport (33%) and meat products (32%).”
Across 33 countries globally, nearly half (46%) of consumers surveyed in the FSC @Ipsos consumer survey, are able to recognize the FSC logo. The FSC logo is especially well-recognised in China, the UK, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Denmark and South Africa.
About 59% of consumers in South Africa recognise the FSC logo.
