Tshwane Municipality is inviting everyone to a clean up of Marabastad, tomorrow, Friday, the 11 April 2025.
Marabastad is a hub in region 3, with multiple challenges, including illegal dumping.
Obakeng Ramabodu, MMC for Environment and Agriculture in the City, will join the clean up, and said in a statement, he plans to launch other important programs of effective waste management in Marabastad.
Future program will encourage recycling, reuse and reduce waste.
Friday’s clean up kicks off at 10am, at Corner Bloed and 7th Avenue.
