Johannesburg Water (JW) is running another set of samples, to test the quality of water at Bezuidenhout Valley.
The local water entity also confirmed that results of the first tests showed compliance to drinking water standards.
The area of concern is limited to 8th Avenue, corners of 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Streets.
JW has cautioned against drinking water in that area, until an official clearance notice is issued.
