Mark Tanton was appointed to the Board of the South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA).
SAWEA said his appointment follows the resignation of Sunette Smith, the former Chairperson.
Tanton is expected to assume his responsibilities for the remainder of the board seat term, ending at the AGM 2027.
Tanton is the CEO and Co-founder of Red Cap Energy, and brings extensive industry experience and strategic insight that will further strengthen SAWEA’s ongoing efforts to support and advance South Africa’s wind energy sector.
