Paul Mashitile, Deputy President of South Africa, is in London, United Kingdom, for the second leg of his working visit, to end on Friday this week.
The Presidency said in a statement, the purpose of his visit is to improve trade and investment relations between South Africa and the United Kingdom.
The United Kingdom has partnered with South Africa, in trade, investment, science, innovation, the Just Energy Transition, skills development and tourism.
The Deputy President’s visit will focus on building investor confidence in South Africa and driving foreign direct investment into the nation.
During his visit, the Deputy President will liaison with global business organisations such as the London Stock Exchange, Investec’s Investors Roundtable, Standard Bank, JP Morgan, City Bank, Goldman Sachs and others.
He is expected to meet the Duke of Edinburgh and the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Angela Rayner.
