Most levels of dams in the Garden Route are 100% full,this week.
This includes the Wolwedans Dam (100.24%), Koos Raubenheimer Dam (100.49%), Garden Route Dam (100.00%), Haarlem Dam (101.79%), Korenpoort Dam: (100.76%), Duiwenhoks Dam (101.13%), Roodefontein Dam (101.01%), Calitzdorp Dam (100.97%), Tierkloof Dam (100.00%) and Akkerkloof Dam (73.80%).
Similarly, South Africa’s national water storage remains healthy, with key systems like the Integrated Vaal River System (IVRS) at a strong 99.7% capacity.
The Vaal Dam is at 105.3%, the Bloemhof Dam at 109.0%, the Grootdraai Dam at 102.9% and Sterkfontein Dam at 98.8%.
Cape Town’s levels of key dams are at an estimated 76%, while those in the Free State at a combined 101,3%.
Mpumalanga’s averages amount to 99.3, with most above 100% full except the Westoe Dam, which is at 54.5%.
Limpopo dams are at an average of 98.3%, while those supplying Gauteng, are at an average of 100.7%.
Northern Cape’s dams are at 89.4%, while those of the Eastern Cape, is at an average of 93.9%.
