The N14 which was severely damaged by floods, was reopened.
The Road is between Kuruman and Vryburg.
The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) said excess water was drained out.
Mirriam Ramoba, Provincial Head at the North West branch of SANRAL, said “we extend our sincere appreciation to Road users, freight operators, local communities and other stakeholders, for their patience, understanding and cooperation throughout the prolonged closure.”
Road users are encouraged to remain vigilant because SANRAL is still monitoring the performance of the pavement, to identify any sign of deterioration for intervention.
