The President Cyril Ramaphosa received a courtesy call from the Prince of Wales at Genadendal, the official residence of the President in Cape Town, Western Cape.
The Prince of Wales is in South Africa to host the 4th Annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony, on 6 November 2024.
The Earthshot Prize shines a light on the impact of climate change, environmental degradation and pollution, as well as the creative solutions people and communities across the globe generate.
It’s snowing in the Eastern Cape
The Eastern Cape Department of Transport, shared videos and pictures of snow in the Karro towns of Graaff-Reinet, Nxuba (Cradock) and Middelburg.
The Department said it is keeping a close eye on Mountain Passes, Lootsberg Pass on the N9 between Middelburg and Graaf Reinet as well as Wapadsberg Pass between Graaff Reinet and Nxuba (Cradock).
