Residents of Mabopane in Pretoria, have expressed dissatisfaction at water supply interruptions.
Ntokozo Ndlovu said “the way you treat residents needs to come to an end, we really are suffering.”
Noah Munyamana, said ” electricity will make residents have a decent life.”
They were responding to the City of Tshwane’s announcement that water tankers will be deployed to at least 5 Wards in Mabopane (21, 19, 12, 22 and 24).
Frans Boshielo, MMC for Utilities, said ” following multiple complaints from the community in affected areas, I recognize the urgency of addressing the ongoing water issues in Mabopane.”
Boshielo also said the City investigation into the drop in water levels in the reservoirs, revealed that critical valves were vandalized.
