Disaster management teams are currently assessing the extent of the damage left by rains in the North West.
The Moses Kotane Local Municipality, said preliminary reports indicate Mahobieskraal and Manamakgoteng villages were badly affected.
The Municipality’s Masego Mokotedi, said in a statement, a full report should reveal more affected areas.
“All verified cases and assessed damages will be formally recorded and referred to relevant sector departments for further intervention and assistance, in line with established disaster management protocols” said Mokotedi.
