Rose (a white rhino) was rescued back in 2017, when poachers shot and killed her mom.
She was left orphaned and all alone, until she was taken to the Care for Wild Centre.
There, she met and grew up alongside other rhino orphans -Khanya, Rubybelle, and Fern.
The centre said “this crash of young rhinos progressed through the rewilding program, learning how to live as wild rhinos again. In 2024, Rose gave birth to her first calf.”
This week, Rose gave birth to her second calf -a small and healthy little bull.
