Johannesburg Water has asked residents to store water for the weekend.

This is due to planned maintenance of the Hector Norris Pump Station.

Maintenance kicks off on Friday evening at 6pm, on the 31st January until Monday the 03rd February 2025.

Johannesburg Water said areas affected are the Johannesburg CBD, Newton, Selby (and extension), Jeppestown, Doornfontein, Forest Hill, Turfontein, Rossetenville, LA Rochelle, Turf Club, Kenilworth, Towerby, De Wetshof, Observatory, Bruma, Cyrildene, Bezuidenhout Valley, Bertrams, Lorentzville, Judith’s Paarl, Troyville, Parktown, Victoria, Linksfield, Glenhazel, Rouxille, Highlands North, Sandringham, Percelia Estate, Fairmount, Talboton, Glensan, Dunhill, Abbotsford, Oaklands, Melrose, Cheltondale, Houghton, Waverley, Saxonworld, Hyde Park, Illovo, Parkview, Killarney, Craighall, Hursthill, Crown City (Extensions and North), Homestead Park, Micor Industrial, Paarlshop, Albertville extension 2, Coronationville, Greymont, Martindale, Montclare, Newclare, Newlands, Triomf, Westbury, Westdene, Albertville Ext 1, Emmarentia, Melville, Richmond, Greenside and Montgomery Park.
